As a global provider of messaging and communications
software and services, 01 Communique recognizes the
concern with privacy on the Internet and is committed
to protecting your privacy. Outlined below is information
about 01's privacy policy. It outlines how your personal
information may be gathered, tracked or used.
Personal Information 01 May Ask For
If you engage in certain activities on this site, such
as ordering a product or registering an existing product
you own, downloading trial versions of software or updates,
or requesting technical support, 01 may ask you to provide
certain information about yourself by filling out and
submitting an online form.
Some of the information requested for a certain activity
is optional and some is required or is mandatory. It
is your option whether to provide any requested information,
however if you do not provide the mandatory information
with respect to a particular activity, you will not
be able to engage in that activity.
For example, if you place an order online with 01,
we will ask you for information necessary to complete
the purchase - such as your name, address, telephone
number, and credit card number. If you request technical
support, 01 will ask you to register your copy of the
software or service by providing your name, address,
contact information, information about your computer
hardware, software as well as the nature of the problem
you are experiencing.
If you request to download a trial version of software,
01 will also ask if you wish to receive product updates
and promotional events, and if you wish to receive information
from 01 approved partners. These requests are optional.
Note that if you participate in any of the open discussion
forums on this site, the particular information you
provide is available to all persons accessing that forum.
What We Do With Personal Information We Ask For
01 retains personal information in order to provide
you with various services. These include shipping product
you have ordered to you, providing technical support,
informing you of product upgrades and new products,
providing you with special offers that may be of interest
to you, and for research on future product ideas or
improvements.
Any information you provide to 01 is kept in strict
confidence in secured databases that are not accessible
outside of our offices. The information you provide
us is used for the purposes outlined above, and not
solicited to parties outside of 01.
On occasion, 01 will retain the services of outside
contractors to provide services for us. Contractors
may be used to ship products, provide technical support,
or handle order processing. We require that these contractors
keep any personal information of customers we provide
them secure and confidential. We also require that these
contractors use personal information only on behalf
of 01.
As a company with global presence, 01 may share information
you provide with our international offices. Again, any
information that we may share internally is done through
secured transmissions and maintained in secured databases.
