$qONE is Live. The First Quantum-Safe Token Just Hit the Market — And Phase 2 Is Where It Gets Real.

While the crypto world debates whether quantum computers will eventually break blockchain encryption, 01 Quantum and qLABS just shipped the answer.

$qONE is now trading live on Hyperliquid’s decentralized exchange, following a successful Token Generation Event (TGE) on HyperEVM. This isn’t a whitepaper promise. It isn’t a testnet demo. It’s a live, tradeable token that forms the economic and on-chain foundation for the qONE Security Protocol — the first quantum-resistant security layer designed to protect existing digital assets without hard-forking a single chain.

Phase 1: Complete. The Foundation Is Set.

The $qONE launch completes Phase 1 of qLABS’ staged deployment strategy — a roadmap deliberately designed to mirror enterprise and government security practices, where defenses are deployed before the breach, not after.

As qLABS President Antanas Guoga (Tony G) put it: “In traditional security, defenses are deployed before the breach. $qONE applies that same, crucial discipline to Web3 in anticipation of quantum threats.”

But the token itself isn’t the endgame. It’s the starting gun.

Phase 2: The Quantum Circuit Breaker

With the token infrastructure live, the focus now shifts to the technology that makes $qONE fundamentally different from every other token on the market: the integration of 01 Quantum’s IronCAP™ cryptographic engine into a quantum lock-unlock mechanism.

This is where two critical technologies come into play:

QCW (Quantum Crypto Wrapper) — technology that wraps existing digital assets in quantum-resistant encryption, protecting them from quantum attack without requiring migration to new chains.

QDW (Quantum DeFi Wrapper) — extending that same quantum-safe protection to DeFi protocols and transactions.

Combined with zero-knowledge proofs and backed by IronCAP™’s NIST-aligned cryptographic architecture, Phase 2 activates what amounts to a quantum circuit breaker for Web3 — a mechanism that can protect assets at the protocol level while preserving compatibility with existing blockchain infrastructure.

Phase 3: Full Quantum-Resistant Authorization

The roadmap doesn’t stop at wrapped tokens. Phase 3 expands quantum-resistant authorization to wallets, individual assets, and protocol-level transactions. The end state is a comprehensive quantum security layer that sits on top of existing blockchains — no hard forks, no base-layer consensus changes, no disruptive migrations.

As 01 Quantum CEO Andrew Cheung explained: “The $qONE TGE is not the end state, it is the starting point. It creates the conditions necessary to deploy Q-Day threat protection safely and at scale for existing digital assets without the need of any hard-forking or modification of an existing L1 chain.”

Why This Architecture Matters

Every other approach to quantum-proofing blockchain demands one of two painful choices: build entirely new quantum-safe chains from scratch and convince everyone to migrate, or wait for existing Layer 1 protocols to collectively agree on quantum-resistant upgrades — a process that could take years of governance debates.

01 Quantum’s approach bypasses both. IronCAP™, protected by U.S. patents #11,271,715 and #11,669,833 and backed by years of extensive research with multiple patent-pending technologies, provides the cryptographic foundation that enables incremental adoption of post-quantum security. Existing chains stay intact. Existing assets stay where they are. Quantum protection wraps around them.

This is the same principle that made the qLABS partnership so significant from the beginning — the recognition that you don’t save the crypto ecosystem by replacing it. You save it by upgrading it.

The Quantum Clock Doesn’t Wait for Consensus

Recent research has continued to compress the timeline for practical quantum attacks on current encryption standards. The “harvest now, decrypt later” threat means adversarial data collection is already underway. And as we’ve covered before, an estimated $440 billion in Bitcoin alone sits in wallets already exposed to future quantum attack.

The crypto industry doesn’t have the luxury of waiting for every stakeholder to agree on a migration strategy. $qONE represents a fundamentally different approach: deploy protection now, on existing infrastructure, with a clear phased roadmap to comprehensive quantum-resistant authorization.

Phase 1 is done. The token is live. The real work — and the real protection — begins now.
